CYLINDRICAL GRINDER -
MODELS OD1022H through OD1660S

A wide range selection of cylindrical grinders that will perform OD and ID grinding work (with ID options). S models are equipped with servo driven wheelhead infeed system with ballscrew.



FEATURES:

  • Various grinding operations can be performed on these models.
  • Entire table way is hand scraped to retain lubricating oil at all times.
  • Spindle of wheel head is mounted on 3 matched pairs of preloaded high precision angular contact bearings by FAFNIR to ensure precision grinding.
  • H model has manual wheel head infeed, with rapid approach and retract mode.
  • S model has CNC single axis wheel head infeed system driven by servo motor and precision ball screw using touch screen conversational program.
  • Worktable is driven by variable speed inverter motor; table feed rate can be adjusted by simply turning a knob.
  • Work head can swivel 45 degrees each way for taper grinding.
  • The work head spindle that turns the work piece is equipped with variable speed control for easy setting of the turning speed. It also has high/low gear to ensure enough torque in turning heavy pieces.
  • Work head is equipped with 5C-lever type collet closure for quick and precise holding of work piece.
  • Table can swivel for taper grinding.
  • Spindle of wheel head has variable speed drive.
  • Wheel head can swivel 15 degree left or right to perform shoulder grinding.
  • Separate auto lube systems for table ways and wheel head ways.
  • Change of grinding wheel can be done safely by loosening of set screws instead of using special clamps to loosen the wheel flange nut.
  • OPTIONAL: A swing down Internal Diameter grinding attachment is available for different sizes of ID grinding.
