A compact size cylindrical grinder that will do OD and ID grinding (with optional ID attachment). The S model has servo driven CNC wheelhead infeed system with ballscrew.

FEATURES:

Capable of many different grinding operations.

Constructed with extra wide, hardened and ground, V way and flat way, the machine is also hand scraped along the entire length of the travel for super accuracy.

Total indicator reading of spindle within 50 millionths of an inch

Spindle of wheel head mounted on 2 matched pairs of preloaded high precision angular contact bearings (bearing ID exceeds 2.15”)

Worktable is driven by variable speed inverter motor; table feed rate can be adjusted by simply turning a knob

Work head can swivel 45 degrees each way for taper grinding

Work head is equipped with 5C-lever type collet closure for quick and precise holding of work piece

Spindle of wheel head has variable speed drive

Wheel head can swivel for edge grinding

Auto lube system lubricates all sliding ways when machine is on

H model has manual wheel head infeed

S model has CNC single axis wheel head infeed system driven by servo motor and precision ball screw using touch screen conversational program.

OPTIONAL: A swing down Internal Diameter grinding attachment is available for different sizes of ID grinding.
